E-MAIL AND G-MAIL

G-mail stands for Google Mail. It is a service provider. It is email is a way to exchange mails. It is available in 105 languages. It is a type of web-mail and it is free email service provider.

E-MAIL

An email is sent through an Internet connection on a computer, mobile phone or any other mobile device like iPad, tablet, palm PC etc. at any time to any email address. It is a cheap and effective way to send and receive messages.

Email servers accept, forward, deliver, and store messages. Neither the users nor their computers are required to be online simultaneously; they need to convert only briefly, typical to a mail server or a webmail interface for as long as it takes to send or receive messages or to download it.

The mail client simply allows users to:

1.  Compose email and send it to an email address
2.  To receive email
3.  To manage email addresses or contacts.

When someone sends an email, for example princez76@gmail.com, the email gets sent by the client to an outgoing mail server via SMTP [Simple Mail Transfer Protocol] which is like a local post office , which checks the postage and address and figures out where to send the mail. The SMTP server then contacts a DNS [Domain Name System] server. The DNS server is a sort of phone or address book for the Internet; it translates domains like princez76@gmail.com to an IP address like “75.344.36.45.” Then, it finds out if that domain has any “MS” or mail exchange servers on it and makes a note of it.

SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO targets unpaid traffic (known as "natural" or "organic" results) rather than direct traffic or paid traffic. Unpaid traffic may originate from different kinds of searches, including image search, video search, academic search, news search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. SEO is not an appropriate strategy for every website, and other Internet marketing strategies can be more effective, such as paid advertising through pay per click (PPC) campaigns, depending on the site operator's goals. Search engine marketing (SEM) is the practice of designing, running and optimizing search engine ad campaigns. Its difference from SEO is most simply depicted as the difference between paid and unpaid priority ranking in search results. SEM focuses on prominence more so than relevance; website developers s...
