Hidden
The hidden attribute of files/folders is meant to hide files/folders. One can't view them unless one knows their name(s). Select this check box to turn on the Hidden attribute, or check to clear this check box to turn it off. Its main purpose is not to disclose the files/folders you create for direct access by other users. Thus though it may not maintain the foolproof secrecy, to some extend secrecy can be maintained.
